The Staytoooned Mobile App series was conceived while watching our granddaughter, Julia, interact with her Uncle Jake's iPhone. Julia quickly mastered the interface and remembered her favorite apps. So, we thought, why not create our own little magic for kids who play with their parent's, uncle's, aunt's and grandparent's iPhones and iPads.
"Uncle Jake" is our artist and animator. Jake's passion for cartooning and animation dates back to when he was a toddler. His style is ideal for developing content for young children. Some of Jake's other accomplishments include a public service annoucement geared toward young adults that features the absurdity of texting while driving. He has also created artwork and animation for social games for nonprofits.
Jane is the brains behind our iTouchiLearn series. Jane has been developing software solutions for nonprofits for over 10 years. Her special interest in educating and entertaining young children through multimedia has led her to launch specialty iPhone apps for toddlers and preschoolers.
Joe brings years of marketing and sales expertise to the iTouchiLearn product line. Joe began his career as a CPA which led to forming a software development company that specializes in software for nonprofits. Joe drew on his dry sense of humor to create the scripts for the series of animations that bring laughter to toddlers and pre-schoolers as they interact with iTouchiLearn.
Without Julia iTouchiLearn app products would not exist. Julia's speech delay was a concern. When she discovered Uncle Jake's iPhone, we observed her attempting to imitate the sounds she heard. Our crown achievement has been watching Julia laughing while she plays iTouchiLearn apps and repeat all the words that she hears.
